Ten students from A.B. Paterson College from Years 10-12 were invited to attend Gold Coast Health’s First Open Day.
Students were stunned that Gold Coast Health employs over 13,000 people in varying roles from health care workers, to lawyers, administrative assistants, IT specialists and so many more.
It was interesting to hear how rewarding a career in health can be and that the interchangeable nature of working in this field can translate to a lifelong pursuit.
Our students had a brief tour of some of the GCUH’s facilities, participated in a CPR demonstration and had the chance to network with industry professional in the health services industries.
